Generally non-permanent appointments can be split into three categories; Temporary, Contract & Interim. All three are similar in outcome yet different in practice. Temporary appointments are bespoke in length and the candidate is employed by Redwood, usually these are charged by the hour. With the candidate operating as a Redwood employee this has the benefit of not increasing a recruiter’s headcount and also offering greater flexibility. Interim appointments are again operated through Redwood but charged by the hour. Due to a growing number of high calibre managers now setting themselves up as either Self-Employed or as Limited companies, invoices are now processed by Redwood. Contract roles are pre determined in length and the candidate is paid directly by the recruiter. Similar in principle to permanent recruitment in that an introduction fee is charged by Redwood, dependant on the length and remuneration of the contract.
